Delivering Excellence in Technology for over 15 years
Established in 1991, Electronic Workplace has enjoyed over 15 years of success in the IT sector. Our philosophy has always been a simple one - to provide our clients with reliable solutions that deliver real and measurable benefits. Because work is a thing you do, not a place you go.
Our customer service ethos has also always run through us like a stick of rock. As our clients come to rely more and more on our technology why should they expect any less from their supplier? Working 24-7, Electronic Workplace guarantee to do whatever it takes to keep your business running and minimise the impact of any problems.
In 2000 the company made a fundamental decision. The internet delivers such dramatic opportunities to mobilise business, with telecoms technology releasing business from the office, that we decided that EW would no longer develop software that was not 100% internet enabled. This proved to be a prescient decision - we've been working with Internet technologies for far longer than most, and our experience and understanding is far deeper.
A great example of this is our Netroster product - our rostering, control, billing and payroll system aimed at the manned guarding and facilities industries. Those industries are characterised by the business being delivered in the field. Yet the only software available was only usable in the office. One of our clients - a guarding company - was caught in this trap. We solved it for them - brilliantly! Initially Netroster was used to enable the two offices in London and Edinburgh to work together. Now, as broadband technology has made the office available at home and client sites, Netroster delivers rostering, control, billing and payroll to our clients wherever they are! The most recent major release of Netroster takes mobility to the next stage - providing managers out in the field with Netroster on their mobiles. No longer are they working blind waiting for colleagues to contact them with important information - now they have the information wherever and whenever they need it. Now that's an electronic workplace!
